Software requirements
Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 or equivalent must be installed prior to installing ArcGIS Explorer Desktop. If .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 is not detected on your machine, the ArcGIS Explorer Desktop setup will not proceed. Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 must be installed manually to meet the requirement.
Microsoft Internet Explorer minimum 7.0 or 8.0 must be installed prior to installing ArcGIS Explorer Desktop. Internet Explorer 9, 10 and 11 are also supported.
