Disabling textures for a multipatch layer

Available with 3D Analyst license.

Textures are the images displayed on the exterior shell of a multipatch feature. You can choose to see just the geometry of multipatches inside ArcScene by disabling the display of the textures.

Follow the steps below to disable textures for a multipatch layer.

  1. In the table of contents, right-click the multipatch layer and click Properties.
  2. Click the Rendering tab.
  3. Check the Disable material textures option.
  4. Click OK.

    Depending on the layer, it may take ArcScene a moment to update the display.
