The TLM Conversion Graph element is used to show the conversion from meters to feet. The conversion graph is generated specifically for the elevation range of your map sheet. The range of the conversion graph is based on the high and low elevations in the current extent of the active data frame.
Once inserted, double-clicking the TLM Conversion Graph element allows you to access the TLM Conversion Graph Properties dialog box. The Update dynamically check box on the TLM Conversion Graph Element tab is checked by default, which enables the Elevation Data Source area. Elevation Data Source allows you to define the elevation by selecting an elevation layer and an elevation field. You can also specify the maximum number of columns and the maximum elevation range per column for the conversion graph.
Unchecking the Update dynamically check box enables the Custom Elevation area, where you can define the number of columns and specify the high and low values for the conversion graph.
