A geodatabase can be created in Oracle and configured to operate as an Esri Production Mapping workspace that can be used in an enterprise environment.
Creating an enterprise geodatabase
The server administrator needs to create a new geodatabase in Oracle that can be used as the Production Mapping workspace.
