Overview
The Statistics and Histogram function is used to define the statistics and histogram of a raster. You can insert this function at the end of the function chain to describe the statistics and histogram of a raster function template (RFT). This may be needed to control the default display of the processing result, especially when defining a function chain that contains many functions.
You can define statistics by typing the values or importing from a raster dataset or an XML file. Histograms can only be defined by importing a file.
Notes
When you first insert this function, by default, a list of band indices are populated based on the input raster. When inserting this function from a function template, where the input raster is unknown, use the number of bands in the RFT as the default setting.
Define the minimum, maximum, mean, and standard deviation in the table. You can also import statistics from a raster dataset, mosaic dataset, or XML file (*.stat.xml).
Histograms can only be defined by importing an existing raster or XML file.
Parameters
Parameter | Description |
---|---|
Input Raster | The input raster that requires the statistics and histogram to be set. |
Define Statistics and Histogram | Set the statistics values for each band. The Histogram column is a read-only field that can be populated using the Import Statistics and Histogram from File parameter. If you import a histogram file, the Histogram column will be marked as Defined. |
Import Statistics and Histogram from File | Import the statistics and histogram information from an existing raster or XML file. |
