MarkerPlacementRandomAlongLine CoClass

Places markers randomly along a line.

Available with ArcGIS Engine, ArcGIS Desktop, and ArcGIS Server.

Description

MarkerPlacementRandomAlongLine places markers randomly along a line or polygon geometry. Markers can be placed using a step distance at either or both ends of the input geometry. You can also choose to place markers on control points.

If markers are to be placed at controlled distances along a line, use MarkerPlacementAlongLine marker placement.
