public class RegisterWithGeodatabase
extends AbstractGPTool

Registers feature classes, tables, and raster layers that were created outside of the geodatabase with the geodatabase in order for them to fully participate in geodatabase functionality. The Register with Geodatabase tool is contained in the Data Management Tools tool box.

Usage tips:

• Feature classes, tables, and raster layers created outside of the geodatabase can be registered with the geodatabase using this tool.
• Before a feature class, table, or raster feature class can fully participate in all geodatabase functionality it must be registered with the geodatabase. If it is not registered with the geodatabase only limited functionality will be available.
