ArithmeticFunctionClass Class

A class for an arithmetic raster function.

Product Availability

Available with ArcGIS Engine, ArcGIS Desktop, and ArcGIS Server.

Description

The arithmatic function is used to perform an arithmatic operation between two partially or completely spatially overlapping rasters or a raster and a scalar. If two rasters are used they must cover the same spatial area and have the same basic properties such as pixel type, number of bands etc. One or more scalars can be specified as an operand using the IScalar interface. If one scalar is specified it is used as the operand for all the bands of a multiband raster. If more than one scalar value is specified, the values are applied one to each band of the input raster.

Interfaces
