IMaplexPlacedLabel Interface

Provides access to members that define a placed label created by Maplex Overposter.

Available with ArcGIS Engine, ArcGIS Desktop, and ArcGIS Server.

Description

A MaplexPlacedLabel represents a single placed, or unplaced, label produced by the label placement process.

Read/write property AnchorPoint The anchor point used for text backgrounds with a callout.
Read/write property Bounds The bounds of the placed label.
Read/write property CharacterSpacing The character spacing of the placed label.
Read/write property CharacterWidth The character width of the placed label.
Read/write property CJKCharactersRotation Indicates if CJK charcters are rotated.
Read/write property ClassIndex Class index associated with the label.
Read/write property FeatureID FeatureID associated with the placed label.
Read/write property HorizontalAlignment The horizontal alignment for the placed label.
Read/write property Label Text string that represents the label.
Read/write property Leading The leading value for stacked labels.

MaplexPlacedLabel A label created by the Maplex Overposter.

Remarks

Note that if the label was unplaced, it shares the same characteristics as a placed label, except its status is �unplaced� and its position is set at the best found, which usually contains some overlap with other labels or a contorted label baseline.
