Deleting calibration points

Routes can also be calibrated by deleting calibration points.

Vorsicht:

Before deleting a calibration point, consider whether retiring the point would is more logical. Retiring a calibration point will preserve the historical integrity and calibration of the route. Deleting a calibration point will result in recalibration of the route for the time span the calibration point was active. If you want to delete a calibration point, follow the workflow below. If you want to retire a calibration point, change the Retire Date value of the calibration point using the Edit Calibration Point tool. See Modifying calibration points for more information.

  1. Select a calibration point using the Edit Tool Editieren (Werkzeug) on the Editing toolbar.
  2. Press the Delete key.

    Hinweis:

Roads and Highways conflict prevention is enabled if a message appears that is related to: acquiring locks, the need to reconcile, or not being able to acquire locks.

  3. Click the Apply Updates button Apply Updates on the Roads and Highways Editing toolbar.

The route is recalibrated by regenerating its shape based on the updated calibration points and its measures, and event data is updated based on the event layers' Calibrate Route rules.

    Hinweis:

You can choose to not apply event behaviors when manually deleting calibration points. This option can be selected in the Advanced LRS Editing Options on the Roads And Highways Editing toolbar and is configurable on an .mxd by .mxd basis. If this option is chosen, no event behaviors are applied, but event shapes are regenerated to align with the route.
