The following sample shows the result obtained on a sample diagram when executing a Collapse Related Features rule.
Collapse Related Features rule sample
For the diagram template implementing the following sample diagram (Figure 1.1), a Collapse Related Features rule is going to be defined to collapse all the schematic features that are related to some of the Feeder nodes that are displayed by a gray square. The relations between the nodes contained in the Feeder containers and these containers are specified through a relationship rule that is currently active and allows the display of the Feeder nodes as containers around their related schematic features.
The attributes for the new Collapse Related Features rule that will be executed after the relationship rule used to relate the schematic features contained in the diagram are specified so that the schematic features related to the Feeder parent nodes are all collapsed, except for those related to Feeder 1.
Figure 1.2 shows the result obtained after the diagram update while this new Collapse Related Features rule is active. Only the schematic features related to Feeder 1 node are kept; all the schematic features related to the other Feeder nodes are collapsed.
