Importing views

The Views tool on the Production Symbology toolbar allows you to copy, paste, delete, export, import, and rename views from a single dialog box.

1. Start ArcMap.
2. On the main menu, click Customize > Toolbars > Production Symbology.

   The Production Symbology toolbar appears.

3. Click the Views button on the Production Symbology toolbar.

   The View Properties dialog box appears.

4. If necessary, click the Views Table Location drop-down list and browse to a geodatabase that contains views.
5. Choose the view you want to import.
6. Click Options and click Import View.

   

   The Open Views Transfer File dialog box appears.

7. Browse to the location of a *.vvs file.
8. Click Open to import the view.
