An overview of remap classes

Available with Spatial Analyst license.

Remap objects are used to define how the data will be reclassified. Remap objects are lists within lists that are constructed to assign input cell values to new output cell values.

There are two main approaches to reclassify your data, reclassify by range and reclassify by individual values. Each approach has a corresponding class.

RemapRange

A list identifying what ranges of input values should be reclassified to in an output raster.

RemapValue

A list identifying what the individual input values should be reclassified to in an output raster.
