Changing the level of detail displayed by image and elevation rasters

Available with 3D Analyst license.

Adjust the general level of quality being used to display the image and elevation layers inside ArcGlobe to best suit the level of your graphics card and hardware.

  1. Click Customize and click ArcGlobe Options.
  2. Click the Level of Detail tab.
  3. Move the Image slider to the desired level of detail.
  4. Move the Elevation slider to the desired level of detail.
  5. Optionally, click Restore Defaults to return to the original settings.
  6. Click OK.
Tip:
  • These settings will apply to the current ArcGlobe session and all future ArcGlobe sessions.
