Zooming to a 3D bookmark

Available with 3D Analyst license.

Follow the steps below to select a previously saved 3D bookmark from the Bookmarks menu and return to that same view extent.

  1. Click the Bookmarks menu.
  2. Existing bookmarks are listed in the pull-down Bookmarks menu for quick access.
  3. Click the name of the bookmark you want to use.
  4. The bookmarked view appears.
Tip:
  • To zoom to a bookmark in a secondary viewer, right-click its title bar and click Bookmarks. Click the name of a saved bookmark to update the view. You can also create and manage bookmarks from secondary viewers.
  • Use ArcGlobe if you want to animate camera movement between known locations. ArcScene does not have the option to animate the viewer when using commands and tools.
