Stopping a raster cleanup session

When you are finished editing your raster layer, you must stop the raster cleanup session. This invokes the Save Raster dialog box, which allows you to choose whether you want to save your raster edits or cancel the Stop Cleanup command.

  1. Click the Raster Cleanup menu on the ArcScan toolbar and click Stop Cleanup.
  2. If you have made any edits to the raster, the Save Raster dialog box appears. Click Yes if you want to save your raster cleanup edits; click No if you want to discard your edits. You do not have to save raster edits to vectorize the modified raster data. You can discard edits if you do not want to change the original raster layer.
