Importing territories can be used if you have a territory layer table such as a .dbf file. The Import Territory Design Solution dialog box will help you map the appropriate fields to ensure that each territory level is imported correctly. As an example, an organization with a set of ZIP Codes assigned to salespeople can use these ZIP Codes to import into Territory Design as sales territories. Once the data is in Territory Design, further analysis can be performed.
