Files Tab

On the Files tab, specify your input, output, and report file names. Note that the Fields, Data items, and Processing tabs will not appear until you select an input file. The Report Options tab will not appear until you specify your report file. Description is used on the reports as an informative title.

Input file types can be

  • MS Access 97–2003 (*.mdb)
  • MS Access 2007 (.accdb)
  • MS Excel 97–2003 (*.xls)
  • MS Excel 2007 (*.xlsx)
  • dBASE (*.dbf)
  • Delimited Text (*.csv, *.tab, *.txt)
  • Fixed Length Text (*.txt, *.asc)
  • MS SQL Server
  • Esri Shapefile (*.shp)
  • Personal Geodatabase

Output file types can be

  • MS Access 97 and 2000
  • MS Access 2007
  • MS Excel 97–2003
  • MS Excel 2007
  • dBASE III, IV, or 5.0
  • Delimited Text
  • Fixed Length Text
  • MS SQL Server
  • Esri Shapefile
  • XML Workspace Document
  • File Geodatabase
