Loading a docking setting

Docking settings, or groups of windows and toolbars that have been saved to a file, can be loaded in ArcMap. When these commands are loaded, the ArcMap environment is reset to include the toolbars and windows included in the docking setting.

  1. Start ArcMap.
  2. On the main menu, click Customize > Production Mapping > Toolbar Settings > Docking Manager, then click the name of the setting you want to load.

The toolbars and windows associated with the setting appear in ArcMap according to how they were configured in the setting.

    Tip:

If you have checked the Hide All Other Toolbars check box for the docking setting, all toolbars that are not part of the setting are removed from the window.
