Returning SDSFIE datasets to the original schema

The SDSFIE Feature Dataset Editor tool allows you to return the SDSFIE datasets to their original dataset groupings if you have already used the tool once to group the feature classes based on the projections they use. When you return the SDSFIE dataset to its original schema, the structure defined in the PLTS_DATASETSINFO table is applied. This table lists the feature class and the name of the original dataset with which it was associated.

Example of a PLTS_DATASETSINFO table
  1. Start ArcCatalog.
  2. On the main menu, click Customize > Toolbars > Defense Mapping.
  3. Click the database to change in the Catalog tree window.
  4. On the Defense Mapping toolbar, click Defense Mapping > SDSFIE Tools > SDSFIE Feature Dataset Editor.

The SDSFIE Feature Dataset Editor message box appears.

  5. Click Yes to return to the original schema.

The feature classes are divided into datasets based on the original schema.
