Working with TLM surround elements

Esri Defense Mapping is designed to generate many of the required surround elements needed to meet TLM50 specifications. These elements are available from the Defense Mapping toolbar (Defense Mapping > Surround Elements).

Additional dynamic elements, such as the table-fed glossary, and other graphic elements, such as legends, logos, notes, and road destinations, are stored in an element library and can be inserted from the ArcMap Insert menu using the Database Element command.

The TLM Database Element Library is typically installed at the following location: <Installation Location>\Program Files\ESRIDefenseMapping\Desktop10.2.1\VMap2TLM\Product Library.
