Modifying an attribute value of a turn feature

Available with Network Analyst license.

Modifying attribute values for turn features is the same as modifying the attribute values for any other feature.

  1. Start ArcMap.
  2. Click the Catalog window button Catalog on the Standard toolbar.

    The dockable Catalog window opens.

  3. Navigate to the turn feature class location.
  4. Drag the feature class into the map or table of contents.
  5. Click the Editor Toolbar button Editor Toolbar on the Standard toolbar.
  6. Click the Editor menu on the Editor toolbar and click Start Editing.

    The Start Editing dialog box opens.

  7. Click the Edit tool Edit Tool on the Editor toolbar and click the feature.

    The turn feature is selected.

  8. On the Editor toolbar, click the Attributes button Attributes to show the Attribute Editor.
  9. Edit the attributes as needed.

    A Drivetime attribute value could be set to 5.

  10. When the edits to the turn feature class are completed, on the Editor toolbar, click Editor > Stop Editing.
  11. Click Yes to save the edits.
  12. On the Network Analyst toolbar, click the Build Network Dataset button Build Network Dataset.
