Overview of Network analysis layers

Available with Network Analyst license.

This section of the documentation provides reference topics and how-to guides for each of the solvers, or network analysis layers.

The solver topics start with an overview of the analysis layer and what it might be used for. Next, each network analysis class is introduced and followed by a comprehensive list of its properties, which are grouped by input-only, input/output, and output-only properties. Last, the topic describes the properties of the network analysis layer itself.

The how-to topics that follow the solver topics step you through the process of creating analysis layers in ArcMap and creating them using geoprocessing tools. Note that the Network Analyst tutorial exercises provide instructions and data for learning about setting up and solving the various analysis layers.
