Deleting an ALRS

You can delete an advanced linear referencing system (ALRS) by right-clicking it in ArcCatalog and clicking Delete.

You cannot delete an ALRS that has LRS Networks associated with it. You must first delete all the networks.

  1. Start ArcMap and open the Catalog window, or start ArcCatalog.
  2. Navigate to the folder location of the geodatabase with the ALRS you want to delete.
  3. Expand the ALRS to see if it contains LRS Networks.
    1. If LRS Networks exist, right-click each one and click Delete.

This operation will remove the registered LRS Network node within the ALRS and the corresponding LRSN_<Network Name> feature class from the geodatabase.

  4. Right-click the ALRS and click Delete.
