Copying and pasting a schematic diagram

Prerequisite:

Diagrams stored in pre-10 schematic datasets cannot be copied/pasted. Pre-10 schematic datasets must be migrated into a new schematic dataset before all functions in this Schematics version work correctly.

  1. Start ArcCatalog.
  2. Right-click the schematic diagram you want to copy in the Catalog tree.
  3. Click Copy icon Copy.
  4. Right-click the desired target schematic folder.
  5. Click Paste icon Paste.

Because a schematic diagram is related to a schematic diagram template defined in a schematic dataset, you cannot paste a schematic diagram into another schematic dataset.
