Moving a schematic diagram

  1. Start ArcCatalog.
  2. Navigate to the schematic diagram you want to move in the Catalog tree.
  3. Drag the selected schematic diagram onto the target schematic folder.

    Note:

    Because a schematic diagram is related to a schematic diagram template defined in a schematic dataset, you cannot move a schematic diagram from one schematic dataset to another.

    Caution:

    Because ArcGIS Schematics enforces the uniqueness of the schematic diagrams' and folders' names stored at any level of the schematic dataset hierarchy, you cannot move a schematic diagram from any A level to B level if a schematic folder already exists with the same name at the B level.

    For example, in the following situation, with regard to the organization and current content of the schematic dataset, you cannot move the Test schematic diagram into the Feeders schematic folder since this folder already contains a schematic subfolder called Test.
