Saving schematic diagrams as layer files

1. Start ArcCatalog.
2. Right-click the schematic diagram you want to export in the Catalog tree.
3. Click Create Layer.

   The Save Layer As dialog box opens.

4. Browse to and choose the folder in which you want a layer file to be created corresponding to your schematic diagram.
5. Type a name for the layer file.
6. Click Save.
