Controlling the output from Spatial Analyst tools

Available with Spatial Analyst license.

For the ArcGIS Spatial Analyst extension geoprocessing tools, you can control how the outputs from operations are maintained or how they are added to the ArcMap display.

From the Main menu of ArcMap, the Geoprocessing > Geoprocessing Options dialog box provides several options, as shown below:

Consult the documentation for more information on using geoprocessing options to overwrite existing outputs and make outputs from tools temporary or permanent.
