Printing a task assistant workflow in ArcMap

A summary of a task assistant workflow can be printed directly from the Task Assistant window. The summary includes the names of the steps and the descriptions. This can be useful when you want to provide a hard copy of the workflow to review the workflow for accuracy.

  1. Start ArcMap.
  2. If necessary, click the Task Assistant button Task Assistant on the Task Manager toolbar to display the Task Assistant window.
  3. Open a task assistant workflow.
  4. Click the Print Workflow Summary button on the Task Assistant window.

    The Print dialog box appears.

  5. Choose a printer and click Print.

The workflow summary is printed. There are no node styles shown in this view. The steps are indented to reflect the workflow hierarchy.
