Introduction to storing the Workflow Manager workspace in a geodatabase in Oracle

  • Oracle software installation

For the ArcGIS Workflow Manager for Desktop applications to function, all the Workflow Manager (WMX) system tables must exist in the database, and of those, the tables that host required configuration information must be populated with values that will drive the application behavior. The following section details how to create and start configuring the Workflow Manager system tables.

This guidebook is intended for database administrators as recommendations for establishing the WMX workspace in a geodatabase in Oracle. The enterprise geodatabase uses ArcGIS technology as the gateway between GIS clients and Oracle.

Oracle software installation

The Oracle software media kit contains instructions to install Oracle on different platforms. Refer to software media kits for an easy and fast installation.
