Deleting an address locator in ArcCatalog

  1. In ArcCatalog, navigate to the folder or geodatabase that contains the address locator you want to delete.
  2. Right-click the address locator and choose Delete.

The locator is physically deleted from the disk or geodatabase.

    Note:

If you are deleting a composite address locator, only the composite locator is removed. The participating address locators specified in the composite locator are not deleted.

Tip:
Address locators can also be deleted using the Delete geoprocessing tool in the Data Management toolbox.
