Mapping and Charting Solutions 10.1 users (including SP1)
The Mapping and Charting Solutions 10.3.1 setup package is designed to detect and upgrade an existing installation of Mapping and Charting Solutions 10.1 (including SP1) on the target system.
Mapping and Charting Solutions 10 and earlier customers
You must uninstall releases 10 and earlier of Mapping and Charting Solutions from your machine before proceeding with the Mapping and Charting Solutions 10.3.1 installation.
Automated uninstallation
Use the ArcGIS 10.1 Uninstall utility to remove all ArcGIS and extensions earlier than release 10. This utility also ensures the products are uninstalled in the proper order.
Manual uninstallation
Programs and Features in Windows 7 and Windows 8 can be used to uninstall products individually. With Mapping and Charting Solutions, software must be uninstalled in the following order:
- ArcGIS Data Reviewer Service
- ArcGIS Data Reviewer for Desktop
- ArcGIS Workflow Manager for Desktop
- Esri Aeronautical Solution, Esri Defense Mapping, and Esri Nautical Solution
- Task Assistant Manager
- Esri Production Mapping
- ArcGIS for Desktop
