Available with Standard or Advanced license.

You can build coverage topology from the coverage's Properties dialog box or using the Build tool; however, you need an Advanced license to use this geoprocessing tool.

  1. In ArcCatalog, right-click the coverage for which you want to build topology and click Properties.
  2. Click the General tab.
  3. Click Build.

You can click the Feature class drop-down arrow and change the feature class or annotation class for which to build topology.

  4. Click OK on the Build dialog box.
  5. Click OK.
