Repairing edge features whose length is near the snapping tolerance

Follow these steps to repair edge features whose length is near the snapping tolerance

  1. Add the Geometric Network Editing toolbar to ArcMap.
  2. In the ArcMap table of contents, select one of the feature classes that participates in the geometric network containing the illegal features.
  3. Click the Network Build Errors command to identify illegal features.
  4. Identify the edge features whose length is is near the snapping tolerance

    These will have a build error code of 17

  5. Delete the feature

    Generally, these types of build errors result in the edge feature being deleted as the feature is invalid and is usually an artifact.
