If you enclosed a file describing how an item's data was modified or tested and you later add that information to the metadata, you should remove the enclosed file containing the duplicate information.
- In ArcCatalog, click the ArcGIS item whose metadata contains the enclosed file you want to see.
- Click the Metadata Properties button
on the Metadata toolbar.
The Metadata Properties dialog box opens.
- Click the enclosure you want to delete.
- Click Delete.
- Click Cancel.
