Editing the color ramp for a raster

You can edit the color ramps for any of the renderers that use one, such as Stretched or Classified. The color ramp is shown on the Image Analysis window and on the Symbology tab in the Layer Properties dialog box.

  1. View the color ramp on the Image Analysis window, or right-click the raster layer in the table of contents and click Properties, then click the Symbology tab.
  2. Right-click the color ramp and click Properties.

This opens the Edit Color Ramp dialog box used throughout ArcGIS for Desktop. To learn about using the Edit Color Ramp dialog box, see Working with color ramps.
