Radar Calibration function

Calibration is performed on radar imagery so that the pixel values are a true representation of the radar backscatter. This function can be used to calibrate RADARSAT-2 imagery in a mosaic dataset or as a raster product. The inputs of the function are:

  • Input Raster
  • Radar calibration type: Beta-nought, Sigma-nought, Gamma, and None (default).

Radar calibration is not available for RADARSAT-2 SSG and SPG products.

The radar calibration depends on the following lookup table files that are normally shipped with the product:

  • lutBeta.xml
  • lutGamma.xml
  • lutSigma.xml
