Symbolizing rasters from values in a raster attribute table

If your raster has a value attribute table associated with it, you can symbolize the pixel values based on a field in the value attribute table.

  1. Add the raster dataset containing the raster attribute table to the view.
  2. In the table of contents, right-click the raster dataset and click Properties.
  3. Click the Symbology tab.
  4. Click either the Unique Values or Classified renderer.

The default maximum number of unique values is 65,536. You can change this value on the Options dialog box.
