Moving to a specific record number

In the attribute table, it is easy to navigate to a specific record by number. This is particularly helpful when working with a large number of records in the table.

  1. Right-click the table or layer in the table of contents and choose Open Attribute Table.
  2. At the bottom of the Table window, type the number of the record you want to move to and press ENTER.

The table scrolls to the record.

Note:

You can apply a definition query to a table if you only want to view a certain subset of the records.
