Using the mouse wheel with the Table window

With a mouse that has a scroll wheel, you can scroll the table horizontally or change the size of the table inside the Table window. This is a shortcut for navigating your table or viewing the attribute information within the table.

  1. Click inside the Table window.
  2. To scroll the table horizontally so you can see other fields in the window, hold down the SHIFT key and roll the mouse wheel.
  3. To shrink or enlarge the size of the table inside the window, hold down the CTRL key and roll the mouse wheel.
Tip:

If you want to permanently change the size of the text displayed in the attribute table, click the Table Options button Table Options and choose Appearance. From the Appearance dialog box, you can alter many properties for the text in the table including font size and type.
