Viewing all or only the selected records

There are various ways for interacting with selected records from the attribute table. One of the ways you can easily interact with selected records is by working in the Show Selected mode of the table. In Show Selected mode, you will see only those records or features that have been selected in the table. You can always refine your selection, and the table will update to reflect the current selection set.

  1. Right-click the table or layer in the table of contents and choose Open Attribute Table.
  2. At the bottom of the Table window, click the Show All button Show All Records to view all records or click the Show Selected button Show Selected Records to view only the selected records.
Tip:
To open a table directly in Show Selected mode, make sure some features are selected on the map. Right-click the layer in the table of contents, point to Selection, then click Open Table Showing Selected Features.
