Saving an animation file

Animation tracks can be saved to an independent ArcMap file (.ama), ArcScene file (.asa), or ArcGlobe file (.aga) so they can be loaded into another document.

If you want to make an animation you have created in ArcGlobe available in ArcReader, save it as an .aga file from ArcGlobe and use the Publisher settings on the Publisher toolbar to include the .aga in the published map.

  1. Click the Animation drop-down menu and click Save Animation File.
  2. Click the Save in drop-down arrow and choose a location.
  3. In the File name text box, type the name you want to give the animation file.
  4. Click Save.

An animation file is saved to the specified location.
