Changing the graph type

Keep in mind that when the graph type is changed, the field used for the graph will need to be set again.

  1. Right-click the graph window and click Properties.
  2. Click the Series tab.
    Tip:

    Be sure to have the correct Series tab active when making changes.

  3. Click the Graph type drop-down arrow and choose the type of graph you want to create.
  4. Click the Value field drop-down arrow and choose the field to use.

    The label for the value field will vary depending on the type of graph you are creating. For vertical line or scatterplot graphs, it will be Y field, and for horizontal line graphs, it will be X field.

  5. Click Apply to review and OK when done.
