Changing the legend title and location

You can control whether or not a graph has a legend, the title for the legend, and the location of the legend in the Appearance properties.

Use the Graph legend checkbox to enable or disable the appearance of the graph legend.

You can change the location of the legend with the Position control.

Note:

You can have greater control over the appearance of the legend on the Legend tab of the Advanced Properties dialog box.

  1. Right-click the graph window and click Properties to enter or change the text of the legend title.
  2. Click the Appearance tab.
  3. Enter the text you want to use in the Title of Graph legend.
  4. Click Apply or OK.
