Setting function parameters

When adding functions to graphs, certain function types have other parameters that control their appearance. Listed below are some of the parameters that can be applied to specific function types.

Curve Fit

  • Set the polynomial degree of the function to fit the line to the curve.
Moving Average
  • Check Weighted for displaying the weighted moving average.
RMS
  • Check Small sample size if you have less than 30 data values of which to determine the root mean square error.
Smoothing
  • Check Line passes through data points if you wish to have the smoothed line pass through all the data points.
  • Adjust the Factor of the smoothing.
Standard Deviation
  • Check Small sample size if you have less than 30 data values of which to determine the root mean square error.
