24062: A higher value of Maximum Number of Rasters per Mosaic is recommended

  • Solution
  • More information

When publishing a mosaic dataset as a cached map service, the cache may not be generated properly if the Maximum Number of Rasters per Mosaic is set to a smaller value. So, a higher value is recommended for an improved cache generation.

Solution

  • Right-click the message and click Show Mosaic Dataset Properties Page.
  • Change the Maximum Number of Rasters per Mosaic value greater than 42 for an improved cache generation.
Note:

Once you address the issue, click the Analyze button on the Service Editor dialog box to reanalyze the service.
