Saving a report

Saving a report creates a static output that you can print, share, or load into other map documents. Reports are saved as report document files (RDF). They can be saved as report documents which can be used in any map document. Report documents are not dynamically linked to the underlying data, they are a snapshot of the dataset at the time the report is created.

  1. Open or Preview a report in the Report Viewer.
  2. Click SaveSave Report on the Report Viewer toolbar.
  3. In the Save Report Document dialog box, navigate to the location where you want to save the report.
  4. Type a name for the report.
  5. Click Save.
