Setting the display width of a field in reports

ArcMap automatically determines how wide to display the field to accommodate the data. However, you can increase or decrease the width. If the width of all fields exceeds the width of the report, the fields will wrap.

The size and position of elements in your report can be modified in the Report Designer. Any element can be resized or repositioned manually by dragging the element.

  1. Open a report in the Report Designer.
  2. Manually click the label element in the Details section.
  3. Resize it manually or type the width you want in the Element Properties grid.
