Using cut and paste to move text between annotation groups

Use the Cut and Paste commands to move text between annotation groups. The text will be pasted slightly to the right and below the graphic's original position so you can see it and move it separately from the original.

  1. Click the Select Elements button Select Elements on the Draw toolbar and click the graphic or graphics you want to move to another annotation group.
  2. Click Edit > Cut on the main menu.
  3. You can also right-click the graphic and click Cut.

  4. Set the active annotation target to the annotation group where you want to move the graphic.
  5. Click Edit > Paste on the main menu.
