Code Sample

The following Python window script demonstrates how to use Business Analyst geoprocessing tool in immediate mode.

import arcgisscripting
gp = arcgisscripting.create()
gp.ExportBoundariesAndVariables_TD("new layer", "Territories[1]", "C:/Temp/data.shp", "AREA_SUM;TOTPOP_CY_SUM" , "POLYGON")

The following stand-alone script demonstrates how to use the tool.

# Import system modules
import arcgisscripting
gp = arcgisscripting.create()

# Set local variables
solution = "new layer"
level = "Territories[1]"
featureclass = "C:/Temp/data.shp"
variables = "AREA_SUM;TOTPOP_CY_SUM"
geometry = "POLYGON"

# Execute tool
gp.ExportBoundariesAndVariables_TD(solution, level, featureclass, variables, geometry)

Environments

This tool does not use any geoprocessing environments
